MIAF 2012 - Baby Boy Screened!

My animation “Baby Boy” screened at MIAF (Melbourne International Animation Festival) last Sunday as part of the Best of the Next Australian screening.

The film was well received. I was relieved to hear the audience reacting and laughing in all the right places.
Someone even gasped in one of the tense moments which was a highlight for me.

Life Drawing Week 09

This week was pay week. So I stocked up on art supplies. I got myself some liquid graphite, brushes, copic markers and new pens. I really enjoyed this weeks drawing.

This is week 08 of life drawing. I didn't have many art supplies with me this week. I managed to do some nice lines and exaggerated poses.

I've been avoiding putting this together for a long while. I was being way too much of a perfectionist, so I let go and this is what I came up with. It gives a nice look at what it I like to do and what I've done. I would love any feedback.

This is week five of my life drawing sketches. Yes, I know I missed week 4 but it looks like I've missed placed a big pile of drawings!

I got very frustrated this lesson. I lost my fluidity and concentrated too much. Hopefully next week I'm back to normal.
