I've been avoiding putting this together for a long while. I was being way too much of a perfectionist, so I let go and this is what I came up with. It gives a nice look at what it I like to do and what I've done. I would love any feedback.

Life Drawing Week 07
These drawings were from a few weeks ago. I had a real productive class and had a lot more confidence in my drawing.

Life Drawing Week 06
Here are some of my drawings from this weeks life drawing class. I had trouble getting into this week, but it was the time I had been back since Easter.

Life Drawing Week 05
This is week five of my life drawing sketches. Yes, I know I missed week 4 but it looks like I've missed placed a big pile of drawings!
I got very frustrated this lesson. I lost my fluidity and concentrated too much. Hopefully next week I'm back to normal.

Life Drawing Week 03
This week I started to experiment with some different mediums. I've decided I really enjoy working on large paper with charcoal, but I do not want to get comfortable with that. Each week I'm going to keep trying to explore what I am doing and how I'm doing it. Next week I'm thinking paint or ink might be interesting.

Life Drawing Week 02
I've continued with doing more Life Drawing at the Brunswick St Gallery in Melbourne. I found my drawings to be a little looser this week. I mainly worked on large scrap paper with charcoal. It worked well because I wasn't being precious with my drawings, which made the experience more fun. I'm hoping next week to introduce some colour.
Oh and excuse the crappy quality of the pictures! (iphone in shit light!)

Life Drawing Week 01
I've started life drawing again. I did it back in high school and sporadically when studying. I started off a bit rusty but got in the swing of things after the first hour or so. I preferred the quick 1 minute sketches and also the slow movement drawings. Our model was a flexy, yoga-dude and quite good to draw.
I'll try and post my weekly sketches. Next week I'm hoping to play with some charcoal and white acrylic paint.
